Customers may require powdered or granular products to be reduced in particle size to aid dissolution, or dispersion of powders into paints or creams. Other reasons for milling may be to aid flow of product, or to assist in more homogeneous blending with other materials of a similar particle size, once milled. Chemical Solutions has a swing hammer mill for the reduction of granules and powder to less than 250µm (0.25mm) and an APV Manton Gaulin Homogenise capable of wet milling to less than 7µm.
